Hi, I'm Scott
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with thousands of executives, Board members, and senior leaders, helping them to communicate, present, and connect with their people, and those around them. I use my skill as an advisor to build people’s confidence, but I am most passionate about seeing people grow as they realise their own potential. As a coach, our sessions are confidential and focused entirely on you. I draw on my experience as a leading journalist, and my strengths in active listening, to ask questions that help you to reflect and think, but I’m just the supporting act.
At the start of each session, we will agree on expectations and what you want to talk about. Then we talk. I ask you a series of questions, and you decide where we go. No judgements, no wrong answers, and definitely no silly thoughts. The topic of conversation can (and does) change. Ours is a safe space to work through challenges, and most importantly give you the opportunity and freedom to reflect and look for ways forward. I don’t give you the answers or any advice, you’ll find that yourself, and that’s the power of coaching.
As a business owner, and experienced executive, I understand what it is like being under pressure and the decision-maker. I also know how lonely it can be, when you can’t talk to someone about those pressures. I have a passion for helping people be the best they can be.
